This Tuscan-style concrete tilt-up cellar door building includes a tasting room, class one commercial kitchen, barrel store, staff offices and amenities. It features extensive use of local materials including local jarrah, granite and limestone, as well as special products like clay barrel roof tiles imported from Italy and timber from the Woolamaloo wharves in Sydney. The Laurance Cellar opened to the public late in September 2006, proving a spectacular addition to the South-West's wine and tourism attractions. The Laurance Winery Store draws on the rural architecture of southern France and Italy, with the use of recycled timbers and a rustic 'hand finished' texture applied to the tilt-up Thermomass walls. Thermomass is the concrete sandwich walling system used in this award-winning project to build a functional, energy efficient and aesthetic winery store. Winner, MBA Excellence in Construction Awards 2003, for use of tilt-up or pre-cast concrete.

The Watershed building cluster of cellar door, barrel store, restaurant/function centre and production areas is an award-winning example of Innovest's commercial and wine industry capabilities. The design of the winery buildings is visually referenced back to typical WA shearing and machinery sheds. The design includes corrugated roofs, columns of local stone and windows that run the entire length of the building. Winner, MBA Excellence in Construction Awards, South-West. This 187m sqm Thermomass concrete tilt panel barrel store and tasting facility has an attractive and contemporary design which reflects the owners' quality focus. The construction features an 80m sqm concrete hardstand and barrel working area. Double glazed slot windows provide colourful glimpses of the surrounding vineyard. Innovest's first Thermomass project in 1997, this wine store was constructed with a textured limestone external finish to the walls and a steel roof. Controlled atmospheric testing for thermal efficiency was carried out in the store during its first year of operation. The results proved the superior performance of the Thermomass Building System for barrel storage.

Designed to resemble the traditional style of southern Italy the project is a fine example of a boutique winery producing 300 tonnes capacity. The Thermomass walls have a rough sandstone finish and features such as deeply recessed timber windows and heavy jarrah doors contribute to the buildings appeal.

The Thermomass barrel store was designed to compliment the existing winery buildings at Cullen Wines. A concrete panel surface texture was created using gravel stone as the outer skin walls, with bush poles and heavy timber doors completing the rustic character of the building.
